An Anecdote That So Perfectly Captures Our Beloved Gail

Quilting, as we know, is an ancient and much-loved art in the United States. Among the women who travel with the groups I guide, there are always some looking for unique fabrics for their quilts.

One day, Sandy, a tourist from California, asked me if I knew where in Jerusalem she could find special fabrics for her quilting projects. Of course, I immediately called Gail. She didn’t hesitate for a moment and asked for Sandy’s phone number.

That very evening, Gail arrived at the hotel with a suitcase full of colorful, beautiful fabrics. Sandy returned to California overjoyed—and couldn’t stop talking about wonderful Gail.

A small story about a big heart.
We miss Gail so very much.
